But if the fates and that dickhead Putin decree and we lose our beloved home, I hope we will be able to find each other again, and that hopefully, our little fandom will rise like a Winchester from the ashes.

amberdreams but i case not, Putin may be about to cut Russia off from the internet, in which case we'll lose Lj.
The import function on Dreamwith is a bit flaky at the moment, so one way of preserving all our wonderful blogs is through this site which was discovered bybeelikej and which converts your blog to a PDF.
I'm gutted because Lj has been my online home for so many years, and I've invested so much love and care into my journal and the friends I've made through it.
If Lj does go down the gurgler, I really hope I can keep in touch with most of you on Dreamwidth/Facebook/AO3/Instagarm

We've lost one of the kindest, funiest and bravest ladies in fandom last night whenjj1564 passed away suddenly. I couldn't believe it when dizzojay contacted me this morning with the sad news, my heart goes out to Sam and the rest of her family a loss like this is so very hard to bear.
JJ has been one of our brightest and most enthusiastic part of the LJ community, with her Dean Daily and Daily dose of Jensen posts, her fics and the adventures of her minis which were always a joy. Even while she battled motor neurone disease, her sense of humour and compassion shone through.
JJ will always be missed by her friends, family and this community and I feel privilleged to have known her.
